Karl Blau is an indie rock and folk musician based in Anacortes, Washington, and member of the Knw-Yr-Own/K Records collective. ////PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS -Established self-release subscription-based label "KLAPS" in 2003. Produced, hand packaged and delivered 30 releases to date -Entrusted with keys to K Records building and studio for 10+ years -Recorded/Produced over 20+ releases, many of them K Records artists -Performed on records by labels Luaka.

In addition to his work in Mount Eerie and the Microphones, Phil Elverum also plays in the band D+ alongside Bret Lunsford (Beat Happening) and fellow Anacortes musician Karl Blau. Now, the trio have announced their first album under the D+ moniker in ten years. It’s titled Destroy Before Listening, and it’s out now via Bandcamp. According to a statement, the songs on Destroy Before Listening were recorded in 2013
