The Cochrane Theatre was a receiving and producing theatre situated in Holborn, London, that opened in 1964. It is now used for television filming. Jeanetta Cochrane Theatre. Southampton Row London, WC1 United Kingdom. The theatre opened in 1963 and was named after its founder, Jeannetta Cochrane, who was a theatre practitioner specialising in costume and scenery design at the Central School of Art and Design, now part of the University of the Arts London. Through her persistence, Cochrane persuaded the London County Council to build a theatre attached to the school. The theatre has a traditional proscenium arch and fly tower consisting of 41 counterweight flying bars, orchestra pit and a fully functioning paint frame (a rarity in London theatres).

Cochrane Theatre (WC1B 4AP) - The Cochrane Theatre is a receiving and producing house that aims to present all aspects of the performing arts within a prosc. She taught at Central School of Arts and Craft and through her persistence persuaded London County Council Education Authority to build a theatre attached to the school. The Cochrane Theatre is now owned by the University of the Arts London, which brings together under one umbrella, five of the world's most famous colleges of art, design and communication: Camberwell College of Art, Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, Chelsea College of Art and Design, London College of Fashion and London College of Communication
