Wild Horses is the debut studio album by the British rock band, Wild Horses, co-produced with Trevor Rabin at Konk Studios in London, and released on 14 April 1980 on EMI Records. It peaked at No. 38, and spent four weeks in the UK Albums Chart. It was subsequently issued on CD in Japan in 1993 on Toshiba-EMI, and by the now defunct UK labels Zoom Club in 1999 and Krescendo Records in 2009, respectively, both with the title The First Album

Wild Horses Lyrics: Childhood living is easy to do, The things you wanted, I bought them for you, Graceless lady, you know who I am, You know I can't let you slide through my hands, Wild horses. Originally, Keith wrote Wild Horses as a simple lullaby for his son, finding it more and more difficult to part from Marlon to go on tour. The song then took on a different complexion under Mick’s pen. [Marianne Faithfull has revealed that Wild horses couldn’t drag me away were the first words she uttered to Mick in the hospital when she came out of a six-day coma caused by an overdose of sleeping pills in the summer of 1969. For the Stones frontman, however, Wild Horses has nothing to do with Marianne Faithfull. From the liner notes to the 1993 Stones' anthology, Jump Back: The Best.

Lyrics to "Wild Horses" song by The Rolling Stones: Childhood living is easy to do The things you wanted I bought them for you Graceless lady you know . .Childhood living is easy to do The things you wanted I bought them for you Graceless lady you know who I am You know I can't let you slide through my hands. Wild horses couldn't drag me away Wild, wild horses, couldn't drag me away. I watched you suffer a dull aching pain Now you decided to show me the same No sweeping exits or offstage lines Could make me feel bitter or treat you unkind. This song, along with "Brown Sugar", is one of the two Rolling Stones compositions from "Sticky Fingers" (1971) album over which ABKCO Records co-owns the rights along with the band. Rolling Stone magazine ranked this song number 334 in its "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list in 2004.

Wild Horses is found on the album Gimme Shelter.

So close no matter how far Couldn't be much more from the heart Forever trusting who we are And nothing else matters. Never opened myself this way Life is ours, we live it our way All these words I don't just say And nothing else matters. Trust I seek and I find in you Every day for us something new Open mind for a different view And nothing else matters. Never cared for what they do Never cared for what they know But I know. So close no matter how far Couldn't be much more from the heart Forever trusting who we are And nothing else matters

In a new interview with The Village Voice, James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett open up about an album that ultimately proved to be a turning point for the band, outselling any previous released while polarizing fans. One of the key tracks that signaled a departure from the band's thrash-metal roots was "Nothing Else Matters," a very personal song for frontman James Hetfield. It's absolutely crazy, that was the song that I thought was least Metallica," said Hetfield, "least likely to ever played by us, the last song anyone would really want to hear.
