Road is the debut self-titled studio album by American hard rock group Road. Released in 1972, it was the only album to be released by the band, who split up the same year. The song "My Friends" was originally recorded by bassist Noel Redding's previous band, Fat Mattress, but went unreleased at the time, making the Road version the first published recording of the song

Kim Bishop has 76 books on Goodreads, and is currently reading The Collected Stories by Lydia Davis and The Iron Necklace by Giles Waterfield, and recent. They will not be notified.

It’s the only original UK Beatles album sleeve to show neither the artist name nor the album title on its front cover. 8. After the album was released, the number plate of the white Volkswagen Beetle, which belonged to one of the people living in the block of flats across from the recording studio was repeatedly stolen from the car. 9. In 1986, the car was sold at auction for £2,530 and in 2001 was on display in a museum in Germany.
