Mind warping Dutch Techno from '91.The Dutch sound around this time had a small but distinctive difference over Belgium. The beats were tighter, the percussion more sharp. Of course, they took great inspiration from their southern neighbours. The Sequal can be seen as Holland's answer to Anasthasia. The same aggressive main stab, but with a more dangerous attack. It's almost out of control, insane. All four mixes on this 12" are pretty similar, but the choice cut for me is B2 (No Sense Remix). It really ramps up the intensity, the percussion cuts like a knife and the main riff is kept to a killer section halfway through to keep the suspense. The roots of gabber were definitely sown here.
