Press play on Never Odd Or Even and you're suddenly tuned into a foreign radio broadcast, mechanized drums and wailing voices sparring with hot wax keyboards. On his solo debut, String Cheese Incident ivory tickler Hollingsworth trots out his considerable chops, but more importantly his compositional skills. His band is a who's who of Boulder, Colorado players, including Motet drummer Dave Watts. The Crusade" kicks it off with a bumping soul jazz workout, a vibe that resurfaces several times.

Perhaps, this is a temporary station problem. You can leave your e-mail and we will let you know when the broadcast of the station will be online again: Or listen to the other country dec name stations.

CD - Sci Fidelity Records. Keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth is more commonly seen on-stage with Boulder, Colorado's legendary jam band the String Cheese Incident (and with the more locally famous Remarkable Elma Kramer). For his debut solo release, though, he focuses on the kind of jazzy funk that fans of Medeski, Martin & Wood will recognize immediately, and the result is delightful. This is an emotionally and musically intricate and highly satisfying album.
