One in a Million" is a song by American rock band Guns N' Roses. It is the eighth track on the album G N' R Lies and was released in 1988. The lyrics describe Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose's experience of getting hustled in the Greyhound bus station upon first arriving in Los Angeles. The song is notable not only for its controversy, but also for being one of the first Guns N' Roses songs that Axl Rose wrote solo.

This song caused some tension when Guns N' Roses and the African-American rock band Living Colour were on the same bill as openers for The Rolling Stones for four nights in October 1989. Living Colour guitarist Vernon Reid was asked about the song in a radio interview leading up to the shows, and he denounced it (Reid wasn't happy about being asked about that song instead of queried on his band's material)

The controversial One in a Million is conspicuous by its absence from Guns N' Roses' new box set for 'Appetite for Destruction. Like a Suicide EP, the five non-album b-sides from Appetite's singles and three of the four acoustic songs on Lies. It appears to have been a deliberate decision; the press release doesn't reference the title of either EP, and the only mention of Lies' existence is where it notes that the acoustic version of "Move to the City" stems from those sessions
