Fear and the Nervous System is the eponymous debut album by Fear and the Nervous System, released on September 18, 2012. The project began in 2008 led by Korn guitarist James Shaffer, who began writing for the band after the death of his father.

Nervous system is the chief controlling and coordinating system of the body. It controls and regulates all voluntary and involuntary activities of human body. There are three characteristic properties of nervous system of human body; Sensitivity, Conductivity and Responsiveness. Neuron is the unit of nervous system: The structural and functional unit of nervous system is called neuron. It is a special type of cell with a cell body and cell processes. For more details about the structure of neuron, see the basic anatomy article . PERIPHERAL NERVOUS SYSTEM (PNS) : Peripheral nervous system includes all the parts of nervous system except brain and spinal cord. It is further divided into two components; Somatic nervous system and Autonomic nervous system. Nerves: Nerves are solid cords composed of bundles of nerve fibers (each nerve fiber is an axon with its coverings) bound together by connective tissue.

The sympathetic nervous system (SNS) is one of the two main divisions of the autonomic nervous system, the other being the parasympathetic nervous system. The enteric nervous system (ENS) is now usually referred to as separate from the autonomic nervous system since it has its own independent reflex activity. The autonomic nervous system functions to regulate the body's unconscious actions.

The autonomic nervous system (ANS), formerly the vegetative nervous system, is a division of the peripheral nervous system that supplies smooth muscle and glands, and thus influences the function of internal organs. The autonomic nervous system is a control system that acts largely unconsciously and regulates bodily functions such as the heart rate, digestion, respiratory rate, pupillary response, urination, and sexual arousal.

This is primarily conducted through electrochemical signaling between nerves and other cells. This is primarily conducted through electrochemical signaling between nerves and other cells. How Does the Nervous System Work? The nervous system in a human is made of the brain, spinal cord, sensory organs and all the neurons that serve as communication channels between the various organs of the body.

Instead of designing objects, we craft computational systems that result in a myriad of distinct creations. These forms are realized using computer-controlled manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC routing.

Morphologically, the nervous system first appears about 18 days after conception, with the genesis of a neural plate. Functionally, it appears with the first sign of a reflex activity during the second prenatal month, when stimulation by touch of the upper lip evokes a withdrawal response of the head. Many reflexes of the head, trunk, and extremities can be elicited in the third month. During its development the nervous system undergoes remarkable changes to attain its complex organization.

The mammalian nervous system is a complex biological organ, which enables many animals including humans to function in a coordinated fashion. Explain the two systems in the peripheral nervous system and what you know about the different regions and areas of the central nervous system. Learn and describe different techniques of studying the nervous system. Understand which of these techniques are important for cognitive neuroscientists. Describe the reasons for studying different nervous systems in animals other than human beings. Explain what lessons we learn from the evolutionary history of this organ.
