Contents Overview The Twilight Zone is an American television anthology series created by Rod Serling. Other contributors to the music for the original television show are Jerry Goldsmith, Nathan Van Cleave, Leonard Rosenman, Fred Steiner, and Franz Waxman. The music for Twilight Zone: The Movie was composed by Jerry Goldsmith. The theme for The New Twilight Zone television series was composed by Jerry Garcia and performed by The Grateful Dead. It featured a brief segment of the Marius Constant theme. The 2002 series also made use of the Constant theme, this time as interpreted by Jonathan Davis (of the rock group Korn). Marty Manning released an album inspired by the series in 1961.

Leonard Rosenman (1924-2008) - mainstream originals and Sci-Fi sequels. Perhaps it's just a coincidence that much of Rosenman's work on Science Fiction movies was on sequels of Star Trek, Robocop and Planet of the Apes. Certainly the music was always original even if the setting wasn't, and Rosenman's music is certainly varied including a variety of other genres and musical styles. Here on Youtube is a rare video of Rosenman on piano playing his music from Rebel Without a Cause. Films by Leonard Rosenman: The Cobweb. The Twilight Zone - . the series 1 episode "And When The Sky Was Opened" when 3 returning space pilots have a disturbing experience. Law of the Plainsman. The Alfred Hitchcock Hour - 2 episodes.
