Anacostia – 1978 – Anacostia. One of the most beloved and dedicated followers of the blog, brother Raphy from Jamaica sent this rare gem to me. To be honest, I wasn’t familiar with this cult soul group of the late 70’s and took me sometime to realise how great it was. Those who love Smooth Soul groups like – The Moments, The Main Ingreadient, Black Ivory or The Chi-Lites – would be thrilled with the group. They were known as The Presidents, just before they became Anacostia.
