Canadian Electronica pioneer Bruce Haack can be a bit of an acquired taste. Bite is his penultimate album, released in 1981. Heavily distorted vocoder voices have mercifully passed into dark alleys of experimental music

Bruce Haack's career has produced a variety of musical styles, particularly electronica and children's music. His mostfamous effort is perhaps his influential 1970 release, Electric Lucifer. An album that incorporated an ion of psychedelic electronic music. He's often balanced out his two primary artistic focuses. In 1982, Haack recorded a proto-hip hopcollaboration with Def Jam's Russell Simmons, entitled "Party Machine", one of the final projects in his life. Bruce Haackdied in 1988 from heart failure.
