Triumph and Agony is the fourth and final studio album by the German heavy metal band Warlock, released on 5 September 1987. The album was recorded in the US with producer Joey Balin and a different band line-up in comparison with the previous album True as Steel, which had made the name of Warlock known outside of Europe. Peter Szigeti and Frank Rittel were replaced in 1987 by the American musicians Tommy Bolan and Tommy Henriksen respectively

Triumph And Agony" is also the best release Warlock has ever put their name o. .Lead vocalist, and founding member Doro Peche is not only a total fox, she's got one hell of a voice as well. A pure Metal voice that is infectious, and beautiful at the same time. You'll fall in love with her if you're not careful. Triumph And Agony" was a graet purchace in 1987, and even today this release has stood the test of time as one of the best in Heavy Metal. So this album is my first purchase from Warlock and/or Doro and I have to say that the good songs are pretty dang great, but there aren't nearly enough of them through this album. Which makes this album mostly average. The songs: 1. All We Are- A pretty good anthem to start off the album. It sounds more like a hair metal/hard rock song that would mix well with Bon Jovi and Quiot Riot. But then again, there's a lot of energy in it.
