Mushroomhead are off to a great start on their 'The Righteous and the Butterfly' album. The disc debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard Top 200 and was No. 1 on the Billboard Hard Rock Chart. You can catch Mushroomhead on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival this summer. The trek launches July 5 at the San Manuel Amphitheatre in San Bernardino, Calif. Mushroomhead is the debut album from heavy metal band Mushroomhead. It was released independently in Cleveland, Ohio, United States in 1995. Some songs have been remastered on XX. Many of the songs contain samples from movies. This is the only album to feature the original line-up, as member Mr. Murdernickel would leave the band after the album's release. The album was re-pressed in 2002 along with Superbuick and M3 with alternate artwork, though some major retailers do not carry them

The first Remix album released by Mushroomhead in 1997. All tracks are remixes except for "Everyone's Got One" (hence the subtitle "Only Mix"). The last portion of "Episode 29 (Hardcore Mix)" was used on the XX album as "Episode 29". The original release of the "Multimedia Remix" also included recordings of Mushroomhead performing "Born of Desire" and "Chancre Sore" at Nautica in Cleveland (now known as The Scene Pavilion) as well as a video for "Simpleton".
