Toronto Rock 'n' Roll Revival 1969, Volume IV is a live album of the Alice Cooper Band. Due to the fact that the recording is owned by a private party, it is unauthorized but not a bootleg. It features Alice Cooper's infamous chicken-throwing performance at the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival festival at Varsity Stadium in Toronto on September 13, 1969 and showcases the early psychedelic music style of Cooper and his band in support of their very first album release, Pretties for You.

Subtitled "Rare'n'Rockin' 1958-63," this is the album that completely rewrites history. It opens with the first recording Richard (then still laboring under his distinctly nondescript given name of Harry Webb) ever made: He rips through raucous, raw renderings of "Lawdy Miss Clawdy" and "Breathless," cuts to a 1958 live show, and hacks through broadcast tapes and unreleased acetates. And every one is a gem. His Elvis Presley covers are especially remarkable

Several years ago when Ace Records of the . announced the end of the "Golden Age of American Rock and Roll" series, a collective moan was heard throughout the world of collectors of pre-invasion, a/k/a "golden age" of, American top 100-music. This volume in the "Golden Age of American Rock 'n Roll" series is a nice collection, but contains a few too many obscure numbers.
