Clubhouse is an album by American jazz saxophonist Dexter Gordon. It was recorded in 1965, but not released until 1979 by Blue Note Records. Robert Christgau of The Village Voice called Clubhouse "superb" and "mature late bebop". All compositions by Dexter Gordon, except where noted. I'm a Fool to Want You" (Joel Herron, Frank Sinatra, Jack Wolf) – 6:43.

Although tenor saxophonist Dexter Gordon had moved to Europe in 1962, he made a return visit to the . in 1965 that resulted in both this album and Gettin' Around. Gordon teams up with trumpeter Freddie Hubbard, pianist Barry Harris, bassist Bob Cranshaw and drummer Billy Higgins for three of his originals, two obscurities, and a standard that ended up being the date's most memorable performance: "I'm a Fool to Want Yo. It is excellent music if not quite essential.

The 50s were Dexter Gordon’s wilderness years. Musically-speaking, it was a lost decade due to the fact that the six-foot six-inch Los Angeles-born saxophonist spent much of it in prison for offences related to his heroin addiction and made few recordings. But in the following decade, it was a different story. By the time that Dexter Gordon came to record the music for what became Clubhouse, he had already done eight album sessions for Alfred Lion’s New York-based indie label. Significantly, the saxophonist was no longer living in America, having left for a tour of Europe in 1962 which eventually saw him settling in Copenhagen, Denmark, where he made a new life for himself. Clubhouse was recorded during a brief return visit to America in the late spring of 1965, which resulted in three consecutive days of recording for Blue Note in May of that year at Rudy Van Gelder’s New Jersey studio.
