The Best of the Wailers is the fourth studio album by The Wailers, released in August 1971. Despite its title, it is not a compilation album. The album was recorded in 1969–1970 (prior to the band's involvement with Lee Perry) but only released in 1971. Nevertheless, the album played true and my stylus, arm tracks true from an above visual inspection amid the wobble indicated by the clearly untrue circumference. as if the turntable's timing is barely untrue. Is it the best I have ever heard or own? Not sure but it's one of them,especially considering the age of the material.

The day it reached the shops on 1 June 1980, Marley and the Wailers opened for Fleetwood Mac at the 69,000-capacity Reitstadion in Munich. It was the second night of the Uprising tour, a European trek which took them to some of the biggest venues on the continent and to several countries they hadn’t played before, including Switzerland, Ireland, Scotland and Italy
