Deep Purple - Stormbringer flac album

Stormbringer is the ninth studio album by the English hard rock band Deep Purple, released in November 1974. The cover image of Stormbringer is based on a photo. On 8 July 1927 a tornado near the town of Jasper, Minnesota was photographed by Lucille Handberg. The same photograph was used for Miles Davis' album Bitches Brew in 1970 and Siouxsie and the Banshees' album Tinderbox in 1986.
Stormbringer is the ninth album by Deep Purple, recorded and released in 1974. It was also the second and last album recorded by the Mark III line-up, featuring: David Coverdale - vocals Glenn Hughes - bass, vocals Ritchie Blackmore - guitar Jon Lord - keyboards Ian Paice - drums. The album was a further departure from the band's trademark hard rock sound in favour of soul and funk elements already hinted on the previous release, Burn.
Like Come Taste the Band, Stormbringer will be of interest to Deep Purple's more enthusiastic fans, rather than casual listeners who would be much better off starting out with either of the above-mentioned studio projects or the live Made in Japan.
