James Brown and The Famous Flames - Think / You've Got The Power flac album

Live at the Apollo is a live album by James Brown and the Famous Flames, recorded at the Apollo Theater in Harlem and released in 1963. The album is included in Robert Christgau's "Basic Record Library" of 1950s and 1960s recordings, published in Christgau's Record Guide: Rock Albums of the Seventies (1981). In 2003, the album was ranked number 25 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time
You've Got The Power by James Brown & Bea Ford. It was Brown's third album, and as with most of his non-live pre-1970's albums, it contains previously released singles. Here it's some of his final Federal and early King sides. All songs are backed by his first great "James Brown Band" lead by . Tracks 11 & 12 are James solo without The Flames. It was reissued numerous times throughout his career, some with different covers. The most recent is this 2015 Japanese bargain version.
You've Got the Power" is a song written by James Brown and Famous Flames member Johnny Terry and recorded by Brown with Bea Ford as a duet in 1960. Released as the B-side of Brown and the Famous Flames' hit recording of "Think", it also charted, reaching R&B and Pop. It was Brown's first recorded duet and his first hit B-side. Brown briefly performs the song in a medley on his 1963 album Live at the Apollo
