The Firehouse Five Plus Two was a Dixieland jazz band, popular in the 1950s, consisting of members of the Walt Disney Studios animation department. The band appeared in animated form in the 1953 Goofy animated short, "How to Dance". The band recorded at least thirteen LP albums, starting in 1955. Firehouse Five Plus Two Volume 4 (The FH5 Story, Part IV) (Album).

The Firehouse Five began at the peak of the California revival of traditional jazz, when the music was sharply divided into warring camps and traditions were jealously defended. But there was nothing doctrinaire about the band's enthusiastic, almost frenetic, approach. Sample this album Artist (Sample).
