Paid In Full is the 2nd track off of Sonata Arctica’s 2007 album Unia. The premise of this song deals with a man going through, presumably, a breakup with someone he loved. He wasn’t prepared for it and he hated himself and his ex for a long while until the near end of the song, where he comes to the conclusion that if he is to love again, he must come to love himself. Thus, he stopped hating and just focused on himself. Paid in Full" Track Info. 1. In Black and White.
Album (Studio full-length). Progressive Power Metal. I was nowhere near ready when all it ended So I hoped we could find a new day, cannot live without you. You gave me the chance, time and again, in vain Now my feelings for you, every tear, every smile, paid in full Break the chain, but no longer can I take the pain.
Sonata Arctica is a Finnish power metal band from the town of Kemi, Finland. Created as a hard rock band named Tricky Beans, they later changed to Tricky Means and finally to Sonata Arctica, when they shifted to power metal. They often include symphonic metal elements, and their later releases contain several elements typical of progressive metal, as well. The current line-up consists of singer, keyboardist and songwriter Tony Kakko, guitarist Elias Viljanen, bass guitarist Pasi Kauppinen, keyboardist and keytarist Henrik Klingenberg, and drummer Tommy Portimo. The album's heavy sampling by Eric B. became influential in hip hop production.
I was nowhere near ready When all it ended So I hoped we could find a new day Cannot live without you. You gave me the chance Time and again, in vain Now my feelings for you Every tear, every smile Paid in full Break the chain, but no longer Can I take the pain? It's hard for me To love myself right now I've waited, hated Blamed it all on you Needed to be strong Yet I was always too weak So I can only blame myself For this state we are in I will take what you have For me now, if it's not too late Did you change? I did too Love can grow from the last grain.
