With 60 Richmond, Teeple Architects sought to create an innovative, sculptural and spatial composition in a manner that defines and animates a dynamic public realm. The result is a building that wraps around its corner site while it is simultaneously perforated by a courtyard that reaches outward to the street, connecting this semi-public outdoor amenity space to the public space of the city. This solution creates outdoor amenity spaces including the 6th floor garden and also provides daylighting to both residential units and hall ways. Save this picture! Diagram.

The ’60s marked a time when pop music became more than a teenage fad, turning into an important art form in its own right as it soundtracked the civil rights movement, the hippie heyday, and the Vietnam War. In an effort to highlight less iconic artists and properly showcase the variety of sounds the ’60s had to offer, this list features no more than five entries by any given artist. These are the 200 songs that most resonate with a generation too young to have experienced the decade firsthand, but old enough to know it had more to offer than (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.

The House of Love is the second album by British alternative rock band The House of Love, released on Fontana Records in 1990. It should not be confused with the band's debut album, which is also called The House of Love. It is generally referred to either as Fontana (after the record label it was issued on) or The Butterfly album (after Trevor Key's sleeve art).

The album doesn’t lose pace from there, launching into the jarring Ramblin’ Rose before the unmistakable intro to the album’s title track: Kick out the jams, motherfucker! -Tyler Kane. 56. Marvin Gaye, I Heard It Through The Grapevine (1968) Marvin Gaye-on the brink of his socially conscious breakthrough What’s Going On-closed out the ‘60s with this collection that obviously sought new places. Displaying his maturation as a musician and visionary, this album is a staple in the musical history of the ‘60s. 53. The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Axis: Bold as Love (1967) On the heels of his stunning Are You Experienced?, the psychedelic guitarist of mind-bending talent returned with an album more grounded in his own writing. Still progressive and going where no other player would, he explored mystical, melodic turns on Little Wing, Castles Made of Sand and the title track.

Director: Jean-Claude Labrecque. This short documentary follows the 11th St-Laurent long-distance bicycle race held in Quebec in the summer of 1964. There, participants from 13 countries covered 2 400 km of Gaspé countryside in 12 days-a course longer than those of Italy, Belgium or Spain. With the curving landscape of this most picturesque province as backdrop, you see here a sports event where the challenge seems more personal than competitive. Running time: 0:16:00.
