This 1979 album is Pablo Cruise's finest, featuring their signature sound while more musically varied than any of their other releases. At 8 tracks total, I only wish they could have augmented it with a couple more. Even in the days of vinyl, that wouldn't necessarily have exceeded the medium's capacity. It's too bad that A&M didn't promote the record better when it was originally released. They apparently gave up after the mildly successful disco-pandering "I Want You Tonight," while there was much worthier material begging.
