Barcelona is a collaborative studio album recorded by Freddie Mercury, frontman of popular British rock band Queen, and operatic soprano Montserrat Caballé. It was released in 1988. After Barcelona was selected to host the 1992 Summer Olympics, Mercury was approached to write a song as a theme for the forthcoming games. The idea was to create a duet with Caballé, as she was from the city. He had been a long-standing admirer of her and she in turn grew to respect his talents very highly.

Bad Guy is the only solo studio album from Queen singer, Freddie Mercury. Released in 1985, during a period in which Queen were on hiatus from recording, it contains eleven songs, all written by him. "This album is dedicated to my cat Jerry - also Tom, Oscar and Tiffany, and all the cat lovers across the universe - screw everybody else!". Freddie Mercury in the albums notes.
On Mr. Bad Guy, Freddie Mercury's first solo album, he puts his shamelessly angelic soprano to work on a group of swooping numbers that he describes as "love songs, things to do with sadness and torture and pain, but at the same time they're frivolous and tongue in cheek. Cheek and overbite being Freddie's operative mode, his trademark braggadocio and choirboy ebullience serve him well.

But instead of treating the successful musical experiment as a brief detour, Queen decided to explore dance music more thoroughly on their follow-up, Hot Space, resulting in their worst-selling release since Queen II.
