Can someone shed some light as to why there are no releases of this on the Renaissance label yet it uses their logo ? It has been one of my all time favorites and I'm just now discovering this after 20 years.

i love daves mix i have it on at least twice a month love it loads. though im still stumpt on the Helsinki sunday 6am mix of Unity . was that a TP or something ? unity is hard enought ot get on its own . but a remix like this wow mind is blown . classic tune like that is just gold !

Although it's not credited, the version of Highland's "Forsaken" included here is what I can only assume to be Part 1. As Vapour Recordings only released Part 2 - this is the only place, to the best of my knowledge, you can find Part 1. Whilst sharing many of the same elements as Part 2, it does include it's own unique synth lines and melodies, which are quite beautiful, and drops into a breakbeat at the breakdown towards the end. It's a shame this version remains unreleased as, like any of Highland's work, it's really quite superb.

There is nothing dirty, electro, or stomping about this album at all!!!! It is pure progressive trance at its best!! Just check out the producers of each track and u will know... One of the best prog trance CDs out there!

This is Seaman at his finest back in the days when he was absolutely killing it with this mix a perfect reflection of what it was like to catch him in a club somewhere in the world and just fuken lose it :)Its best described as a dirty tech electro stomper rather than a trance album.

An excellent single CD mix album from Dave Seaman that is on par with any of his previous Renaissance or Global Underground releases. The easy highlight of the whole album though, is Orkidea's amazing "Unity". The song merges older electronic classics like "Papua New Guinea" with a late 90's progressive trance edge. And of course, aside from the excellent track selection, the arrangement and mixing is of Renaissance standard, meaning: flawless. All in all, you have a superb mix worthy of sitting along side any of Dave's UK releases.
