Trademark are an English band, formed in 1995, and consisting of Oliver Horton, Stuart Meads and Paul Soulsby (who joined in 1999). They have played live regularly since 2002 and over the years their shows have included science lectures, illuminated labcoats, giant perspex bottom-plugs and slide projections
In particular, vocalist Tim Moss' near-belligerent muffled vocals (à la David Yow) monopolize the album, including a few moments where he addresses the crowd with unnecessary profanity and outright cathartic antics. Guitarist Mike Saklar, bassist Randy Cotton, and drummer Eric Ebers lay down a dense and equally unkempt foundation of murky, monotone sonic aggression.
The LP record album was issued in 1975 by Trademark of Quality. The albums contains studio recordings by the group between 1964 and 1968, about half of the tracks had been issued as the A-side and B-sides of singles, but remained unreleased on albums at the time. The balance is made up of tracks, most of which were unreleased in the UK. The material, which was out of print in 1975, draws heavily on the Jimmy Page-era Yardbirds, plus a few recordings with Eric Clapton. It is also the first release of the famous record label Trademark of Quality. Much of the material consists of a recording made in December 1961 in a Minnesota hotel room, studio outtakes from several of Dylans albums. The album was nicknamed the great white wonder due to the original plain white gatefold cover, newer pressings contain the name stamped on.

For information about the trademark application process, be sure to watch the USPTO’s news broadcast-style video series called the Trademark Information Network (TMIN). If various members of the band have formed a partnership to own the trademark rights, and the partnership has been organized under a particular business name, the application should be filed in that business name. If the partnership has not been organized under a business name, the names of the members should be listed as though they composed a company name.
