Music for Films is the seventh solo studio album by British musician Brian Eno. It is a conceptual work intended as a soundtrack for imaginary films, although many of the pieces had already appeared in actual films.
More Music for Films (2005) is a compilation album by British musician Brian Eno. All music composed by Brian Eno; except where indicated. Tracks 1, 3, 10 to 14 originally appeared on the 1993 release Eno Box I: Instrumental.
Music for Films, Vol. 3, is a set of mismatched pieces by Brian Peter George St. John le Baptiste de la Salle Eno (aka Eno). The disc contains 15 short pieces (only one is over five minutes). In that regard, there is a distinct similarity to his new wave pop music from the '70s. This CD is, however, all instrumental, largely electronic, and distinctly Eno. Despite their dissimilar origins, these tracks have definite cohesion.

Incredible action scenes, sharp dialogue and beautiful cinematography deserve a great soundtrack but finding those perfect tracks for a film isn’t always easy. Crafted with media in mind and organised by genre, our music is the go-to choice for filmmakers around the world. Our tracks, created by big-name composers and bright new talent, are recorded in some of the world’s best studios - including Abbey Road. And, with simple, clear licensing, clearing the rights to use them couldn’t be simpler.
Not long after Brian Eno coined the term ambient music in the late 1970s, he generated another Eno-ism with an extended lifespan, one with an appropriately slower dissemination. I want to be living in a Big Here and a Long Now, the producer wrote in a notebook. He thought of his then-recent recordings as sound suspended in an eternal present tense. Perhaps unconsciously channeling Baba Ram Dass's brand/mantra, Be Here Now, the always-conceptual Eno began to expand his sense of scale

Notes"This album is a compilation of fragments from my recorded work over the last two or three years. Some of it was made specifically for use as soundtrack material, some of it was made for other reasons but found its way into films; most of it is previously unissued in any form." 1978.
