Live at Easy Street is a live EP by the American alternative rock band Pearl Jam that includes songs taken from a surprise in-store performance at Easy Street Records in West Seattle on April 29, 2005. The EP was released on vinyl to celebrate Record Store Day on April 13, 2019.

Pearl Jam played a surprise show at Easy Street Records in West Seattle on a Friday night, in support of the Coalition of Independent Music Stores(CIMS) and in celebration of CIMS 10-year anniversary. The result of that once in a lifetime performance has been recorded as an EP entitled LIVE FROM EASY STREET. This 7 song EP contains three never before released cover songs. Now if you feel Pearl Jam is a lot more than that this live album would completely blow you away. To start sound quality is perfect!! way better than the long bootleg official collection Pearl Jam continuously releases from time to time. You don't have "hits" on it (probably "Porch"for nostalgia) the band sounds louder than ever, but in a pristine way, avoiding any kind of useless noises that would somehow interfere with the bass guitar sound, or the drumming.

This is probably the second best sounding Pearl Jam live vinyl. DC 98 vault continues to be the leader, in my book, but this is much better than I expected. It sounds crisp and very present. Most of the other vinyl (10 legs, LP2, Chicago) sound recessed and veiled. Easy Street does not. It's nicely done. The jacket is really nice as well, with some cool pictures. Nice graphic in the center of the record as well. As many have said, there's a general version being released through 10C at some point soon, so no reason to pay flipper prices on this.

Sounds insanely good, crisp and clean. Had to go the reseller route, oh well.

I'm really confused how a 7 track live album with 6000 copies is being flipped for over $60. Now, if they had released it with the ENTIRE setlist from that show, I would understand. The following is the complete list of songs that were performed by Pearl Jam at the original concert:[2] "½ Full""Corduroy""Lukin""American in Me""State of Love and Trust""Down""Sad""Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town""Crapshoot" An early version of "Comatose" from the band's 2006 album, Pearl Jam"Spin the Black Circle""Even Flow""Save You""Bleed For Me""The New World" (with John Doe)"Fuckin' Up""Porch"

I fully agree. I am a long time Pearl Jam fan, and i´m not buying this for more than retail. I will wait until it´s released again. A guy in Pearl Jam HQ said it´ll be out in a couple months or so. I can wait.

Ah I never realised they did a longer show! Have the cd since it came out and picked up the 12" on Sat for €40 here in Dublin. For all those selling it on at such a higher rate for an ep, hang doth heads!
  • Scream_I LOVE YOU
it's a "RSD first" so it will get a later release eventually.Live At Easy Street Pearl Jam Monkeywrench LP 'RSD First' 6000

Is this album really almost worth $70. I passed on this on RSD to be quite honest. Unless these versions of the songs are unique and/or improvised or offer a rare glimpse into a Pearl Jam show, I'm not sure I need this.
  • Deorro
I'm a fairly nutty pearl jam fan but I instantly regretted spending 50 euro on it when I listened to it. It sounds great but none of the Tracks are better than what is out there already. I'll rarely listen to it to be honest.
  • Rindyt
Never pass on a PJ record at retail price :)
  • Vudozilkree
wait for the general release, but i don't think you'd find new world with john doe anywhere else. american in me and bleed for me are also rare covers. not worth $70 but definitely worth the retail price i paid.

This album rips. McCready wails on guitar. In between the tunes there's some guitar amp hum, but overall sound is great. Feels like you are at the show. Exactly what I expected from the 2019 RSD ambassadors. I freaking love this album. Only wish they added one more tune to each side, way too much wasted room before the runout. Only had to wait 4 hours to get it. Sorry for those of you who weren't as fortunate. It's on black vinyl and is not numbered. Very cool rsd hype sticker on the cover.
  • Landarn
I agree, this is a killer album! And it sounds awesome. And like you, I really wish it was a bit longer but absolutely worth the wait.
  • Voodoozragore
I wasn’t able to put my hand on a copy. Is the record numbered? Is there any detail indicating that this is a limited edition? Is the record coloured? Thank you in advance for your answer.
  • the monster
At the moment, www.drstrange.com still has copies for $23.00 + shipping
  • hardy
This is only a "RSD First" release. There will be a larger wide release later this year.
  • Rolling Flipper
Yeah to like 6000, you’ll get one. F these flipper scumbags.
  • Wyameluna
Just bought this one a couple of hours ago at a brick and mortar store for RSD 2019. Great release and sounds awesome, but really disappointed that a mere 2 hours later flippers are already asking more than twice the price at the local stores. Argue all you want about capitalism, blah, blah, blah..... but having waited in line myself for 5 hours and nearly not getting one I have no respect for you guys flipping these records for ridiculous prices. If fans are willing to stand out in the cold and rain for hours on end to get an album they shouldn't have to lose out to some A-Hole who doesn't care about actually listening to that album and just wants to make some extra cash. It's shame that music lovers have to deal with this when buying records and concert tickets in today's world.
  • Beahelm
I just purchased the same record as you in the same fashion, but only waited two hours. I'm with ya on the whole flipping thing but until people stop paying these ridiculous markups we're always going to have the flippers. I got the Bill Evans album and it is now selling for around $350...stupid. But anyways I digress, I'm glad the album sounds great, I'm stuck at work and haven't had a chance to listen.
