Transistor-Jet ‎– Transistor-Jet Strikes Back. Label: Ti-Ohm ‎– III. Format: Vinyl, LP, Album. A very Bizarre and interesting electronic gay inspired 1980 album, well known to minimal synth fans for the dark electronic track "Master of the Universe". Personally, it's certainly a one-of-a-kind document of the underground gay expression from the final days of the pre-AIDS era. I think the cover art with the artist shirtless with a band-aid on his forehead is stunning and sexually supreme as well.

Reviews:

As stated below "Master Of The Universe (BW's F-W)" is unique and great. Like a dark vocal intro going for 6:30.

Aside from having been a backroom gay bar on Greenwich St., in New York, “The International Stud” was also an off-off-Broadway one act play produced in 1978. It was later combined with two other one act plays (“Fugue In A Nursery” and “Widows And Children First!”) to become Harvey Fierstein’s semi-autobiographical play “Torch Song Trilogy.”

I think the cover art with the artist shirtless with a band-aid on his forehead is stunning and sexually supreme as well. Beyond that, this is extremely tough to find nowadays, especially in any nice playing condition, a true timeless piece of Gay history that got shoved below the earths crust and has been forgotten completely. Supposedly, available on cassette and open reel, though I have never ever seen it on anything but vinyl. All known pressed copies have mixed matched labels. A project worth repressing for future "bent" generations to come.
