Barack Obama at the Jerusalem Convention Centre. Information from its description page there is shown below. English: United States President Barack Obama waves to the audience after delivering remarks at the Jerusalem Convention Centre on 21 March 2013. International Convention Center. Международный конференц-центр (Иерусалим).

President Barack Obama was interrupted Thursday by a heckler during a speech before hundreds of students at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem. Obama is on day two of his first trip to Israel as president. The president was halfway through weaving an Obama-esque gauze of talk about peace and human dignity when a student in the crowd began shouting in Hebrew. It's not clear exactly what the student said, and his words are barely audible in video of the incident.

US President Barack Obama speaks to an audience of Israeli students at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem, March 2013. It is an honor to be here with you in Jerusalem, and I am so grateful for the welcome that I have received from the people of Israel. I bring with me the support of the American people, and the friendship that binds us together. Over the last two days, I have reaffirmed the bonds between our countries with Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Peres.

The International Convention Center (Hebrew: מרכז הקונגרסים הבינלאומי‎, Merkaz HaKongresim HaBeinLeumi), commonly known as Binyenei HaUma (Hebrew: בנייני האומה‎, lit. Buildings of the nation), is a concert hall and convention center in Giv'at Ram in Jerusalem. It is the largest convention center in the Middle East.

President Barack Obama delivers a speech on policy at the Jerusalem Convention Center (Reuters). Ahead of his visit to Israel, US president Barack Obama made no mystery that his speech at the Jerusalem Convention Centre (JCC) before 600 young students would be the key moment of the tour. And here it was. A more confident, sharper Obama delivered a terrific, subtle and eloquent speech that future generations will probably analyse as a pivotal point in the construction of peace in this tormented region. Until this moment, he had kept a low profile. The initial remarks at Ben-Gurion international airport in Tel Aviv were all focused on reassuring the elite of the United States' eternal support for the Jewish state, in a heart-felted re-evocation of Israel's millenary connection to the Promised Land. The speech at the JCC started in the same tone.

Next Thursday, US President Barack Obama will make a historic visit to the International Convention Center in Jerusalem where he is scheduled to address Israeli youth. The problem: There are only 1000 seats. The result: People are expected to battle it out for a chance to touch Obama glory. Also, in celebration of the visit, the US Embassy will be giving away 20 tickets. Those who don’t win can take solace in a cultural happening which will take place at the Embassy’s American Center. It will include a rock show, children’s theater and discussion with a diplomat. A team of US staffers arrived in Israel on Sunday, to take care of arrangements for Obama’s stop.
