Now I lay me down to sleep is a classic children's bedtime prayer from the 18th century. Perhaps the earliest version was written by Joseph Addison in an essay appearing in The Spectator on 8 March 1711. It says: When I lay me down to Sleep, I recommend my self to his Care; when I awake, I give my self up to his Direction. A later version printed in The New England Primer goes: Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my Soul to keep, If I should die before I 'wake, I pray the Lord my Soul to take.

Lil Nas X - Old Town Road. Do you hear me when you sleep? Слышишь ли ты меня, когда спишь? I hoarsely cry.
Question: Our 2-year-old refuses to sleep in her own bed; I think we have tried everything with her. First method: After reading the book we put her into her bed, leave and close the gate. She starts crying desperately, gets out of her bed and continues crying until she either vomits or almost has an asthma attack. Here’s the thing:The level of anxiety that the parents were reporting was dangerous for the child’s brain, and that was my main concern. So, allow me to clarify. Children are born to attach to a caregiver.
My little horse must think it queer. To stop without a farmhouse near. Between the woods and frozen lake. The darkest evening of the year. He gives his harness bells a shake. To ask if there is some mistake. The only other sound’s the sweep. Of easy wind and downy flake. The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep.
