Sincerely - Mac Wiseman. Take's Bluegrass Album Channel. Dim Lights, Thick Smoke And Hillbilly Music Country & Western Hit Parade 1959.
Mac Wiseman – Sincerely. Label: Hamilton – HLP 12130. Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Stereo.
Half of the album is devoted to sacred songs and the other half is distinctly folk flavored, with Wiseman's arrangements of traditional material like "The Baggage Coach Ahead" and "Darling Nelly Gray. The Three Bells" is the only track that also appears on Teenage Hangout, Bear Family's anthology of this period of Wiseman's career. The highlight is "The Preacher and the Bear," which benefits from a snazzy vocal arrangement and a brisk tempo. Format: Vinyl, LP, Compilation, Stereo. The Hamilton label was black with silver print, with the label name in script at the top. Mono album issues were in the HLP-100 series, with corresponding stereo issues in the HLP-12100 series, with the last three digits the same for the mono and stereo issues.
