The RCA multi-album release was number 1 on the Billboard magazine pop charts. Disney music was moving into the big business level  . The Walt Disney Company traces the Disney Music Group back to the founding of Disneyland Records in 1956. In that year, the Walt Disney Music Company's Disneyland Records record company was founded on the strength of Fess Parker's 1954 hit recording of the "Ballad of Davy Crockett" using the Disneyland label which was licensed to Columbia Records.

Disneyland Resort is a combination of the Disneyland and California Adventure parks. Select an album from the Park listing. This will open up a track listing for that album.

As any self-respecting Disney fan already knows, Disneyland turned 50 in 2005. To help mark this noteworthy occasion, Walt Disney Records issued a handful of theme park-related CDs around the time that the golden anniversary festivities were kicking off last spring. To satisfy many, there was the 22-track Happiest Celebration on Earth, a re-release of the 1956 album Walt Disney Takes You to Disneyland, and a Karaoke Series, each a regularly-priced standalone disc. But the serious Disney fan wanted more and even the parks-exclusive 2-disc Happiest Homecoming on Earth wasn't cutting it.
