Rush is the debut studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released on March 1, 1974 by the band's own label Moon Records in Canada and by Mercury Records in the United States and internationally. Their first release shows much of the hard rock sound typical of many of the popular rock bands emerging earlier in the decade. Rush were fans of such bands as Led Zeppelin and Cream, and these influences can be heard in most of the songs on the album.

I’m runnin’ Finding my way back home Oh yeah! Yeah, oh yeah! Ooh, said I I’m comin’ back to look for you Ooh, sit down I’m goin’ by the back door Ooh, yeah. Ooh yeah Findin’ my way! You’ve done me no right But you’ve done me some wrong Left me lonely each night While I sing my sad song. Look out! I’m comin’ Whoa, whoa Look out! I’m comin’ Whoa, yeah. I’m runnin’ Findin’ my way back home I’m comin’ Ooh, babe, I said I’m runnin’ Whoa, babe, I said I’m comin’ To get you, mama Said I’m runnin’

About Finding My Way lyrics. Label Moon Records (18). from album: Rush (1974).

Finding My Way' - Rush (Single). Although Rush have since become one of the biggest bands out there in Prog music, there was a time when they were blues rock above anything else. It was only until Neil Peart entered the band that things started rolling. These two first songs off of Rush's debut show the sort of style that they were into back in their early days. Finding My Way' is the obvious winner here, and it's one of the best songs off of the debut. The opening riff is a fantastic way to open up an otherwise weak album. Need Some Love' is a bland.
