On the third or fourth page of his work sheets I saw some lines-one of them was "My momma done tol' me, when I was in knee pants . In 1972 Benny Goodman's All Star Sextet was recorded live in Copenhagen; this material was released shortly thereafter on a Decca double LP. After languishing for years in record company vaults, cutout bins, and used record stores, the music was reissued on CD in 2006 by Universal, then by Dutton Vocalion in 2007.
