2018 is an arguably big year for All That Remains. Despite the fact the band lost its guitarist mere weeks before the album’s official release, the record’s singles showed surprising promise. Fuck Love brought back memories of The Fal. ays, not just in stylistic fury but also in quality. The riffs, the screams, the furor are well placed and it would seem that All That Remains were making a comeback at last. It was a feeling short lived unfortunately as more of the band’s less than middling content arrived in the form of Everything’s Wrong. It’s certainly sure that Victim of the New Disease will not be the band’s master stroke, but considering what we’ve had to put up with these last few years from the All That Remains camp, I’ll take Victim of the New Disease with a grain of salt.

Victim of a New Disease is a return to the aggressive edgy roots for New England Metal legends All That Remains. Having sold over . million albums to date this new album will please old fans and new fans. It's nothing that makes it an Album Of The Week or anything like that, but I am still not kidding when I say this is not bad. If you're a fan of All That Remains and enjoy "Fall Of Ideals", you will probably like this album a lot and that goes for every fan of the band. This certainly won't completely win over outsiders like myself since there are flaws, but it is once again an adequate enough experience. I am curious to see what the band has in store for us after this and what trajectory they will choose, but as for this album, it's fine.
All That Remains have announced that they’ll release their new studio album next month. The follow-up to 2017’s Madness is titled Victim Of The New Disease and is set to arrive on November 9 via Fearless Records
