Real Name: Harry Axten. Format-440 is a British musician from Guildford. Heavily inspired by funk, electro, boogie and disco, he has incorporated elements of these genres into synthwave, creating a uniquely fun and always danceable blend. His productions have an authentically old-school sound; evoking memories of the club scene of yesteryear. He released his debut EP Interfaces in 2015, followed by two albums, Tomorrow’s Technology and Digital After Dark in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

The TS-440 does not automatically mute the microphone when using the FSK mode with the rear audio connectors, so if you leave the microphone plugged into the radio, you will get shack noise superimposed on the audio from the computer's sound card. I have modified the stock Kenwood microphone to take care of this problem. The info to do that is in this page: ww. o4bb.
